The Ben Hur was a nickname for the American 1 ton 2 wheel cargo trailer. It was designated as the G-518 Trailer of which over 259,000 were made.

It was designed for towing by vehicles of 3/4 ton or heavier.

It came in several variants including water trailers (G527 Trailer). It was produced between 1941 and 1945. Other versions included generator trailers, radar, spares and ammo.

Note: Trailer comes with the front hitch wheel either up for towing or down for parking.

M13 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage

The M14 was a derivative of the American M13 Multiple Gun motor carriage and was a self-propelled anti-aircraft gun.

It was fitted with twin 0.50 calibre M2HG Browning machine guns and was made by the White Motor Company. It saw service in 1943-44 and some 1,103 were built.

The M14 had the same armament as the M13 but had a slightly different M5 chassis. It was mainly supplied to the UK. 1,602 M14s were made.

It was fitted with four 0.50 calibre M2 Browning machine guns in an M45 gun  mount and was made by the White Motor Company.

It saw service from 1944 to 1953 and some 3,550 were built. It also saw service in the Korean War.

M21 Mortar Motor Carriage

The M21 was an American half-track which carried  an 81mm M1 mortar and a n M2 Browning machine gun. It was based on the M3 half-track. 

It saw action in Western Europe, Normandy and the Battle of the Bulge.

100 models were built in 1944.

The M21 was an American half-track which carried  an 81mm M1 mortar and a n M2 Browning machine gun. It was based on the M3 half-track.

M3A1 Scout Car (covered) v2

The M3 Scout car was designed in 1937 and came about as a result of a request for a fast armoured car capable of towing the standard 37mm artillery piece. It was known as the White Scout car in British and Commonwealth service.

The M3A1 was an improvement from 1940 with a longer hull and an unditching roller.

It was capable of being armed with three machine guns on rails, a 50cal and two 30cals. They served in the Philippines and North Africa and many were sent to Russia.

They weighed 4 tonnes and carried a driver plus seven.

20,918 M3A1 models were produced between 1949 and 1944. They served in many nations in WWII and beyond.
