CMP F-60 Truck

The F-60 was a Canadian designed and produced truck made to British standards for use in the forces of the Commonwealth. As such they saw service with Canada & Britain as well as Australia and New Zealand. Some were also sent top the Soviet Union.

Over 500,000 CMP trucks were produced, some 410,000 of which were in Canada.

The F-60 was just one of a number of styles of CMP truck.

Light Tank Mk VI
Model comes in 2 parts; Hull & Turret.

The Light Tank Mk VI was designed by Vickers-Armstrong in the 1930s. 1,682 were produced between 1936 and 1940.

It was in service in the British Army until 1942 but saw action in the Arab-Israeli War in 1948. Several were captured and used by the German Army during the Battle of France. The Germans designated captured Mk VIs as Leichter Panzerkampfwagen Mk. IV 734(e).

The main armament was a 0.50 inch Vickers machine gun, though the Mk VIC had a 15mm Besa machine gun. They also had a .303 Vickers machine gun. They were operated by a crew of three.

The Pattern Wheeled Carrier was built in New Zealand in the latter half of the war. It was designed to be used on the home front but some saw service in Korea.

Some served in artillery units as observation vehicles.
