The Austin armoured car was produced during WWI. Some were produced in Russia between 1918 and 1920 and were referred to as the Austin-Putilov or Austin-Kegresse.

They were armed with 2 either Hotchkiss or Maxim machine guns.

Some 16 BA-11D models were completed and saw action during the defence of Leningrad.
