T-54 (1951)
Model comes in two parts; Hull & Turret.

The T-54 was the main battle tank o the Soviet Army following WWII. The T54/55 series was the most produced tank in military history with figures anywhere from 86,000 to 100,000 produced.

The T-54 was produced from 145 up until 1981.It weighted 36 tonnes and was armed with a 100mm D-10T gun and a 7.63mm SGMT coaxial machine gun or a 12.7mm DshK heavy machine gun. It had a crew of four.

T-55 AM2
Model comes as two parts; Hull & Turret.

The T-55 was basically an upgraded T-54 and the two look very similar. It was operated by around 50 armies throughout the world and remains in service to this day.

The T-54 & 55 were the most widely produced tanks in history numbering up to 100,000. It was armed with a 100mm rifled gun and a 7.62mm machine gun.

The AM2 was built in Poland and Czecholslovakia

T-62

The T-62 was introduced in 1961.

It was armed with a 115mm U-5TS gun and a 7.62mm machine gun and weighed 37 tons.

Some 22,700 T-62s were built and it still several in several armies today including Afghanistan, Egypt, Cuba, Iran, North Korea and others.

T-70 (version 1)
Model comes as two parts; Hull & Turret.

This Russian light tank was designed to replace the T-50 and T-60 tanks. It was armed with a 45-mm L/46 Model 38 and a 7.62mm DT machine gun. It was in service between 1942 and 1948.

It weighed 9.2 tonnes and had a crew of two.

The T-72 entered service in 1973. It served in 40 armies throughout the world.

It was armed with a 125mm 2A46M gun and a 7.62 machine gun. It weighed some 41 tons and had a crew of three. Over 25,000 were built.

Tacam R2 Self Propelled Gun
Model comes in one part

The Tacam R2 was Romanian anti-tank vehicle built upon the R2 light tank. The turret of the R2 was removed and replaced with a Russian Zis 3 76.2mm field gun.

It saw service in 1944- 1945. Only around 20 were built.

Tetrarch Tank
Model comes in two parts; Hull & Turret.

The Tetrarch saw action in the invasion of Madagascar in May 1942. They also saw service with the 6th Airborne Division and were used in the invasion of Normandy and were landed by gliders.

Twenty Tetrarchs were sent to Russia as part of the lend-lease agreement.

177 were built between 1938 and 1942. They were crewed by a commander, gunner and driver. They were armed with a QF 2 pounder (40mm) gun and a 7.92 Besa machine gun.

Type 1 Ho-Ni
Model comes in one part.

The Ho-Ni was a 75mm Type 90 field gun fitted on a Type 97 chassis.

26 Type Is were made in 1942 though its first action was in the Phillipines in 1945. It weighed 15.4 tons and had a crew of five.

There were 3 variants of the Ho-Ni, types I, II and III, a toal of all versions made was 111. The model depicted is the Type I version.

Type 97 Chi-Ha
This model comes in 2 parts; Hull and Turret.

The Chi-Ha was one of two Japanese tanks which formed the bulk of the Imperial Japanese Army and Navy. It was used in the Second Sino-Japanese War, the Battles of Khalkhin Gol against Russia and the Second World War.

The Chi-Ha weighed 15 tons and had a crew of four. It was armed with a 57mm gun and 3 Type 92 7.7mm machine guns. 1,162 Chi-Ha's were produced.

Type 97 Shi-Ki
Model comes in two parts; hull and turret.

The Shi-Ki was developed from the Type 97 Chi-Ha tank; it used the same chassis and hull but the turret was redesigned. The turret armament was removed and replaced with a powerful radio which utilised a large horseshoe aerial around the turret.

The bow machine gun of the Chi-Ha was replaced in the Shi-Ki with a type 98 37mm gun. A type 97 machine gun was mounted in the rear of the turret for the commander's use.

It had a crew of three, commander, driver and gunner and weighed around 15 tons.

The model here represents the Unic P107 which were captured by the Germans in France and used extensively as the  leichter Zugkraftwagen 37 U304(f). It was a French halftrack similar in nature to the German Sd.Kfz. 250.

They were used as artillery tows and troop carriers.
