The Carden Lloyd was a British pre-WWII tankette produced in various forms. The most successful was the MkVI. Some 450 were built by Vickers-Armstrong between 1927 and 1935.

It weighed 1.5 tons and had a crew of 2.

Poland used the Carden Lloyd design to create their own TK tankettes after purchasing 10 from the UK. Czechoslovakia and Russia did the same, making their own versions. Similar developments occurred with Japan, Italy and Bolivia.

They were armed with a .303 Vickers machine gun.
