GMC CCKW 353 Water Tanker
This model comes in 7 parts; Truck & Wheels.

The CCKW truck was built by the General Motorworks Company. GMC used the initials to signify:
"C" - designed in 1941
"C" - conventional cab
"K" - all-wheel drive
"W"- dual rear axles

The truck saw service through WWII & Korea and into the 1960s.

There were many variants of the truck and the one modelled here is for a water tanker capable of carrying 700 US gallons of water.

KV-2 (v.1)
This model comes in two parts; hull and turret.

The KV-2 was a development of the KV-1 tank. The hull was exactly the same but a new turret and gun were designed, the turret being very distinctive; it was a full 1m taller than the KV-1 turret.

The KV-2 featured a 152mm howitzer and two machine guns.

The KV-2 saw service from 1940 to 1945 and 334 were built. It had a crew of six

The M10 was developed in 1942 and first saw action in Tunisia in 1943. Around 6,400 were produced between September 1942 and December 1943.

It was equipped with a 3inch M7 gun and a .50 calibre Browning machine gun.

It was crewed by five; commander, loader, gunner, driver and assistant driver. It was also used by the British Free French, Russians and Chinese.

M32 Tank Recovery Vehicle
This model comes in three parts; hull, 2 crane parts

The M32 was a converted Sherman which had the turret removed and a fixed turret added. It was fitted with an 18-foot A-frame and a 60,000lb winch.

The version depicted here is an M32B1 which signifies it was converted from a standard Sherman M4A1

Matilda Mk I
Model comes as two parts; Hull & Turret.

The Matilda I saw action with the British Army from 1938 to 1940 and served in the Battle of France.

The Matilda was built by Vickers-Armstrong and weighed 11 tons. It was armed with a Vickers .303 or .50 machine gun.

Maximum road speed was only 8mph while its cross-country speed was only 5mph

OT-34
This model comes in 4 parts; Hull, Turret & Tracks.

The T-34 was one of the most numerous of tanks produced during WWII. The T34/76, fitted with a 76.2mm high-velocity gun was produced over 35,000 times. By 1943 the Russians were producing around 1,300 per month, equivalent of three full-strength German panzer divisions.

The OT-34 was fitted with an internally mounted flamethrower in place of the hull machine gun. They were mostly 1941 or 1942 models fitted with ATO-41 or ATO-42 flamethrowers.

Pak 38
Model comes as one part.

The Pak 38 is a 5cm anti-tank gun. It was first used in 1941 during Operation Barbarossa on the Eastern Front. 

The Pak 38 could penetrate toe armour of a T-34 at close range.

It had a crew of 5 and could fire 13 rounds per minute.

Panhard 178 Command Vehicle

The French Panhard 178 was in service between 1937 and 1964 and saw action in WWII, the First Indo-China War and Vietnam. It was produced between 1937 and 1940. There were 729 "A" versions, and 414 B versions.

This version is a Command or radio version. One in twelve vehicles had to be a special radio vehicle. This had the armament removed and the turret fixed in place. It was equipped with an ER27 radio set with a range of 80 - 150km and two ER26ter radio sets for comms within the squadron.

The French Panhard 178 was in service between 1937 and 1964 and saw action in WWII, the First Indo-China War and Vietnam. It was produced between 1937 and 1940. There were 729 "A" versions, and 414 B versions.

This version is a n early version of the 184. It weighed 8.2 tons, had a top speed of 72kph and was armed with a 20mm SA 35 cannon and a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun.

202 Panzer Is were converted to Panzerjagers in 1940/41 and they saw action in France, north Africa and the Eastern Front. The turret was removed and a fixed gun shield was fitted to protect the crew.

The Panzerjager I was a converted Pz.Kpfw IB chassis with a Czech Skoda 4.7cm PaK (t) anti tank gun.202 Panzer Is were converted to Panzerjagers in 1940/41 and they saw action in France, north Africa and the Eastern Front.

The turret was removed and a fixed gun shield was fitted to protect the crew.

This model represents a modified Panzerjager I Ausf B which has had the standard 47mm PaK removed and replaced with a more powerful StuK 40 L/48 75mm gun found in the StuG III.

Not much is known about the vehicle and sources suggest it was a field modification. Numbers are not known but thought to be extremely low
