The S.E. (Scout Experimental) 5 entered service with the Royal Flying Corps in March 1917 and saw action also with the United States, Canadian and Australian air forces. 77 S.E.5s were made before they changed the engine and designated the rest as S.E.5a
It had a maximin speed of 138mph and was armed with a Vickers .303 and a Lewis .303 machine guns. Some 5,205 were built.
Model measures approx 46mm long with a wingspan of approx 58mm
