It was developed in 1936 and built between Jan 1939 and Nov 1942. Some 620 were made.


It weighed 6.05 tonnes and had a top speed of 35kmh.

The FFI was a version of the 37L modified to carry a machine gun.

M9A1 Halftrack
Model comes as one part.

The M9A1 was a variant of the American-produced M9 halftrack of which some 3,500 units were built. They were used by a number of armies both during WWII and beyond seeing action in the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, Korea, Suez and others.

They were built between 1942 and 1944 and weighed 9.3 tonnes.

They could carry 10 troops and were armed with a 0.50inch Browning machine gun and two 0.30 M1919 Browning machine guns.

They were leased to Russia and the UK who provided them to other Commonwealth armies.

Panhard 178 Command Vehicle

The French Panhard 178 was in service between 1937 and 1964 and saw action in WWII, the First Indo-China War and Vietnam. It was produced between 1937 and 1940. There were 729 "A" versions, and 414 B versions.

This version is a Command or radio version. One in twelve vehicles had to be a special radio vehicle. This had the armament removed and the turret fixed in place. It was equipped with an ER27 radio set with a range of 80 - 150km and two ER26ter radio sets for comms within the squadron.

This version is a n early version of the 184. It weighed 8.2 tons, had a top speed of 72kph and was armed with a 20mm SA 35 cannon and a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun.
