The 262 as an Italian medium truck designed for the Italian Army and Air Force. It operated in North Africa, East Africa, the Balkans, France and the Soviet Union. They were used by Italy, France, Germany and Bulgaria.

It was produced from 1939 to 1948 and some 10,000 were made.

Fiat Ansaldo M11/39

The M11/39 was an Italian medium tank which saw service from 1939 until 1944. It was officially called the Carro Armato (armoured vehicle) M11/39, the ‘M’ meaning medium and 11 being the weight in tonnes.

It had a crew of 3; commander/radio operator, loader/gunner and driver.

It was armed with a 37mm Vickers L/40 gun and 2 Breda 38 machine guns.

The vehicle saw service in Libya, North Africa, East Africa and Italy.

Flammpanzer II

The Panzer II Flamm, Flammpazer II or Flamingo, was a German flamethrower tank designed in 1939.

It was fitted with two flamethrowers on either side at the front of the tank.  143 Flammpanzer IIs were built from January to march 1940, 43 of which were directly converted from Panzer IIs.

They saw action in Russia until late 1941 after which they were withdrawn and converted to Marder IIs.

M22 Locust

The M22 Locust was an American designed light airborne tank which was made by the Americans on the request of the British who wanted an airborne tank to replace the Tetrarch.

Some 830 were built between 1942 and 1945.
 It weighed 7.4 tonnes, was crewed by three and was armed with a 37mm M6 gun and a 7.62mm Browning M1919A4 machine gun.

The Chaffee saw service in the American Army between 1944 and 1953, though it was still in action as late as the 1970s in some armies.

It was intended to replace the Stuart and the first models entered Europe in November 1944.

It weighed 20 tonnes and was armed with a 75mm M6 gun and two Browning machine guns. It was crewed by five; commander, gunner, loader, driver and assistant driver/radio operator

This is the amphibious version of the M28 Weasel. The Weasel was originally designed for use in snow. The C version was used in inland waterways rather than the sea though it did see action in the Pacific theatre.
