1/144 scale British Sopwith Dolphin biplane.

The Dolphin entered service in February 1918. It was unusual in that the lower wing protruded in front of the upper wing. On entering service it had the misfortune of being attacked several times by both British & Belgian pilots who thought it was a new German fighter.

It had a maximin speed of 131mph and was armed with two .303 Vickers machine gun. It could also carry 4 25lb bombs. Some 2.072 were built.

Model measures approx 48mm long with a wingspan of approx 70mm
